Fresno fantasy transit system

For anyone who has lived in Fresno metro area for any amount of time, you end up knowing that public transit opportunities are far and few between for the vast majority of people that reside in the cities.  Assuming densification of all areas of the cities and the restriction of Urban Growth Boundaries as well as utilizing existing rail right-of-way and high capacity corridors,  this ongoing project provides a vision of what the future of transit could look like in the Fresno metro area. 

Phase 1 of the system would include:
-The conversion of the FAX Q Line to full light rail running in the median of Blackstone and Kings Canyon (Lime Line).
-Construction of the Downtown Connector Streetcar between the CA HSR station and Amtrak stations, as well as a
-Streetcar connection Downtown and the Tower District/Fresno City College.
-Bus Rapid Transit lines commencing service on Herndon Avenue, Shaw Avenue, McKinley Avenue, Cedar Avenue,
Clovis Avenue, CA-168, and Golden State Corridor (UP Right-of-Way).
-CA-99 cap between Fresno St. and Tulare St. and CA-41 cap between Mckenzie St. and Tulare St. 

Phase 2 of the system would include:
-Extension of Lime Line from Phase 1 termini at Kings Canyon and Clovis/Riverpark to FAT Airport and Children's Hospital.
-Conversion of CA-168 BRT to Light Rail (Red Line) and construction of Clovis Light Rail along historic SJVR Right-of-Way (Orange Line).
-Conversion of Golden State Corridor BRT to Light Rail running on UP Right-of-Way from Herndon Ave. to Jensen Ave. (Yellow Line). 
-Extension of Downtown Circulator Streetcar in all directions and construction of subway tunnel under Tulare Street.
-Commencement of Commuter Rail Line between Madera and Selma/Kingsburg along UP Right-of-Way (Green Line).
-Expansion of CA-41 cap between San Joaquin St. and Mono St and reconnection of street grid.

Phase 3 of the system would include:
-Conversion of Shaw Avenue BRT to Light Rail (Bulldog Line) and construction of Old Town Clovis to Fresno State Streetcar
-Extension of Red Line past subway tunnel into West Fresno and  along CA-168 to Clovis NE Urban Center.
-Extension of Yellow Line along Jensen Ave. to Clovis Ave. to terminus at FAT Airport and Lime Line to Riverstone/Tesoro Viejo.
-Further expansion of Downtown Circulator Streetcar and Tower District Streetcar network. 
-Commencement of Light Rail service along BNSF Right-of-Way through to Kings Canyon trackage and extension to Sunnyside (Cyan Line)
-Commencement of Commuter Rail Line between Kerman and Sanger along existing SJVR Right-of-Way (Green Line)
-Expansion of CA-41 cap from Belmont Ave. to Huntington Blvd. and reconnection of street grid.
